Guh, I forgot just how resplendent Signalis is. It's one of the few games I'd easily put on the level of Shadow of the Colossus in how undeniable its art is deeply human, how clearly the creators have crafted something uniquely beautiful and captivating. Impossible to recreate by other hands.

Ugh, as usual Assetto Corsa disappoints me. I remember being displeased with the original, and now with Rally I can't help but wonder who in their right mind would think this is realistic.

No sound for impacts? No tire-on-road sounds? Such vague brake control? Lateral movement in general is wrong.

Finished the Pokemon Legends: Z-A campaign. It was... Alright. I wish the combat felt better. And honestly so much of it just felt like filler.

Lumiose also might be the worst video game world I've visited in awhile. Truly phoned in.

There has to be consequences for last night. Not just Schumer’s leadership- every last one of those eight need to be frozen out of Democratic Party funds. Those in blue states should be asked to resign. Completely blackball everyone involved.

Huh, Moxfield searching off of Scryfall directly is... well, it sure is something. "Nothing we can do"- y'know, you could always host and make the DB available yourself.

Not saying that's easy or the best idea, but it's what I would've done instead of depending on them directly. Seems risky.

Dick Cheney died. God rest his soul.

He was a horrible, awful man whose decisions led to not only the deaths of millions but the disillusionment required to produce today’s right wing.

I’m not glad he’s dead but he should not enjoy any elevation in death either.

Sad. My local Riftbound event sold out and there’s not really information on when I can get some starter decks.

So thanks to my employer I'm doing a very, very long paternity and honestly I feel like I'm slowly returning to sanity. It's like my life doesn't have to revolve around my work!

To distract myself this morning, I'm watching an old DEFCON talk on building your own Radar system: www.youtube.com/watch?v=MViV.... Thanks youtube.com/@PerunAU, never would've cared but now I certainly do.

Ugh. My in-laws lab, Charlie, has cancer and they give him a month. It sucks because he was such a rough dog in his first year, and has grown into the most lovable, soft, happy boy you could want.

I had no idea how common cancer was in labs. It's devastating- this is the third I've seen die young.

What even is this notification badge on Target's website

I keep clicking it and it shows me just a vague menu

I told my wife I felt like I needed to cry. I said I could watch the interviews with the real-life soldiers before an episode of Band of Brothers.

I realized this sounded like a “Guys will _ instead of going to therapy”, except I’m about to go to therapy.

For the life of me I cannot understand the reviews for Hades 2.

I’m 30 hours in, completing runs at 5 fear. I barely have had more story than what is on the Steam store page. The characters are universally less interesting. What am I missing that has everyone so infatuated with this game?

Yeesh, MacOS Tahoe is rough. Lots of instances of unexpected slowness, the new Phone app crashes constantly, and the UX continues to be less and less intuitive.

Also somehow, they've made their #1 new functionality feature of a release Folder customization. Again. This is like the 3rd time.

holy moly I really enjoyed the end of Muri Muri. I can't believe Allison-- I mean Ajisai -- won.

Now to not watch the movie in November so I can just let that be the ending

A fun fact about McCarthyism is that just two and a half years after he was condemned and censured, Sen. Joseph McCarthy drank himself to death at 48.

Fevers break. Petty tyrants fall. Censorship and persecution drive good people to stand together and fight back.
