Turning on the air conditioning in May feels like defeat.
For the first time in years I was asked “what on earth do you do if you study German?”
And this time I got to say, “well I’m a German professor, so I’m pretty happy where I ended up.”

Can confirm that this helps.
So I made the change to lower my screen time by around 2 hours a day by reading a book.
So now instead of doom scrolling endlessly I go read a book and I feel 100x better for it 💛
You should try it, you don't have to read but honestly lowering your screen time is worth it

When I was 19 and my mother died, I dated a guy who could have (at the time) been the person I would marry.
He wasn’t, because it wasn’t right and also he got real clingy and, the day my mom died, more or less told me he wanted to marry me.
I just found out he died from the same cancer as her.
