So to those who are currently out of work and looking, how do you keep your spirits up when you keep doing interviews and get passed up on and the only feedback your getting is that there are just a lot of well qualified applicants? Really kinda struggling right now and it’s hard to stay confident.

I have to say I appreciate @aaronparnas.bsky.social and all his updates, but I my anxiety can not handle it when my FYP is 3 of his videos in a row. Can we just get Captain Cheese Puff out of office already.

So after 12 years in the tech industry working with start up and being with a company 8 years, for the first time I was “impacted” by layoffs. I plan on getting the ground running Tuesday looking for a the job. But my question is this, Software Engineers, what is on your personal website?

So I’m loving the idea of the Fediverse and loving what BlueSky and @skylight.social are doing. Would love to beta the Skylight app. But I can’t get a video to upload on BlueSky. Hopefully this is some that that both of them can figure out. But the social media future looks awesome. #fediverse
