It’s truly astounding when your institution wants to publicly tout you and your lab as a crow jewel of research achievement, while simultaneously taking away your research capacity, office space, and resources. Nobody is immune to university administration. The institution will never love you back.

people who use goodreads: jeff bezos owns goodreads and if you want a better alternative there is a black woman owned company called storygraph that you can use to replace it. you can transfer all of your data from goodreads to storygraph and have your mind be free of trumpie jeff bezos! win win. 💙

The authors in the Archaeology as Service issue saw service as working with communities and had goals of establishing the authority and knowledge of descendant communities and heritage protection. Most papers include community members as authors. Articles are Open Access: tinyurl.com/4uwb5sjf
