Sometimes you have to realize that self critique is just you taking a handicap so the rest of us have a chance.

I'm of the political mindset that society should a place where everyone has a sporting chance to achieve anything.

That doesn't mean I think everyone should be a CEO, but I do believe we all deserve an equal opportunity to be considered.

You might ask yourself, how do I help? What can I do in these times?

Call your reps, call the media companies, call the corporations.

MAKE IT their problem.

We must now become a nation of karens, and set that wrath upon those who wish to take our right to be a karen away!

You hear that Costco is raising their wages by 30%?
Did you hear that Costco won't go back on their DEI programs?

Show your support. If not from buying things from Costco, giving them praise on social media. Their social teams are listening.

This whole freeze on Federal funding and everything else they are trying to pass reads as one thing.

A coup.

They are trying to coup the government from within.

Let's take a lesson from our GOP countrymen

Be disruptive. Be annoying. Be frustrating.

For example, when in the grocery store be sure to bring up bird flu and how concerned you are. Or in my case, say BIRD FLU as loud as you can during the conversation.

I just called my senator and asked them politely to

"get off your ass and do your fucking job"

Feel free to take inspiration

As an autistic, asking for instructions can feel like I'm admitting that 'I'm stupid, tell me what to do'.

In reality, my brain needs the order of operations. What is the linear pattern we need to follow. Asking for instructions isn't a sign of stupidity, but a need to clarify intent.

Life lesson from my dad

Never ask someone to do something you'd be unwilling to do. Always be ready to do what you are asking them to do.

Theory.

If the techno-oligarchs had it their way, they would get rid of legitimate state and federal government. They want a world where you work for and pay only them. Where there are no parallel power structures to keep them in check. They want a world without opposition.
