In 1988, ALF had a 2-part Thanksgiving special guest-starring David Ogden Stiers as a homeless man hiding out in the Tanners’ garage.

Happy Fappiano from @brainexploder.bsky.social, @horrormoviebbq.bsky.social, @thepopdaddy.bsky.social, and me.

🦃 In 1983, Q*bert got his own cartoon. It had a Thanksgiving episode showing his ancestors building a Q home in a Q land after arriving on the Q*flower. It’s real!

Here’s an 80-minute podcast about it with @brainexploder.bsky.social, @horrormoviebbq.bsky.social, and @thepopdaddy.bsky.social.

It’s things like this that make October and Halloween so special. Regular, ordinary, and boring chores are suddenly filled with cast of ghosts, rats, and bats.

I hope you all find a ghost or a rat or a graveyard today.

Ultra rare aesthetic unlocked: Mid level sketchy laundromat with early 2000’s Halloween decorations.

Does any fast food chain go this hard anymore?

My favorite aesthetic is chain restaurant franchise location DIY Halloween display.

Nobody ever talks about the movie Monkey Bone and it’s starting to deeply upset me.

If you need physical, tangible evidence that life peaked in the early 2000’s: these were FREE at McDonald’s in October 2003.

Halloween! Nightmare King! Ghost! Ghost Pepper! Wednesday! And now the Jack-O-Lantern Whopper. I'm the only person in the world with a complete collection of Burger King's Halloween Whoppers, dating as far back as 2015. Can't believe I'm single.

If this came out when I was a kid, I would 100% save this box to put action figures in.
But even better: I’m gonna save this box and put action figures in it as an adult.

Leave It To Beaver ep "Sweatshirt Monsters" the Beav gets in trouble at school for wearing a Monster Sweatshirt. I can't express the level of righteousness anger little Sam felt at this ep. Probably contributed to me buying so many horror shirts. Let's get some repros and go freak the normies

Back in the 70’s my dad saw some wrestlers in a restaurant in NYC & none of the “good guys” would look his way. The only one who did was one of the “bad guys”: Iron Sheik.

Decades later, my dad took me to get this photo with him and tell him that story.

Sometimes the bad guys are the good guys.

The main takeaway in SUPERMAN (2025) is “Be nice to people and try your best”.

We are absolutely FRIED beyond recognition as a society if this takeaway is ruffling some people’s feathers politically.
