We are going to all have to go to the streets to stop this. I don’t know exactly how it will work. I am almost 70 years old and not very athletic and would not do well in jail. But I fear there is no other choice.
This is terrible. It is also an opportunity for certain journalists to finally speak up with a *fraction* of the courage the people of Minneapolis have shown. It is also instructive that Lemon is Black. Woe/pox etc upon white journalists who don’t freak out about this.
Don was taken into custody by federal agents last night in Los Angeles.

I watched Station Eleven on HBO over the weekend. It was one of the best limited series I have seen in a long time. A very different look at post apocalypse. Highly recommended.

In a normal world, the military does not conduct exercise near large population centers and, if they did, there would already be some down the line officers fired and hearings for top brass before Congress tomorrow.

I am 67 years old and grew up working the land in East Texas. Cows, chickens, cotton (I have picked cotton when it was too wet for the tractors), truck farming, flowers. I worked hard to be sure I never have to do that work ever again. Our kids and grand kids cannot and will not do farm work.
