Out of the ten new followers this morning I only followed one back. Three were the same guy, two were the pretty Asian girl scam, and one guy couldn’t spell “vers” properly. So yeah, there is a lot of junk flying around our blue skies now.

1985 for me. Being in the Navy a few years later when the USSR “rebranded,” I have never lost sight of them as an enemy of all we stand for.
I graduated high school in 1984. It was a glorious time. It’s also the year the movie “Red Dawn” came out. It’s a time in this country when we all knew the Soviet Union/Russia was our enemy. I still know that. I haven’t changed in that regard.
