We are Thames Water customers who refuse to pay part or all of our bills. Doing so hastens the day when Thames Water will be back in public ownership. See https://boycottthameswater.org/advice-for-boycotters/ for contact details and tips on boycotting.

The privatised water companies want the government to hurry up and abolish Ofwat

How is that going to help?

The government should hurry up and REMOVE their licences, starting with Thames Water *which wants to pollute outside of legal limits until 2040*

Don't be fooled by social tariffs, cost passed to other customers.

Billions extracted in dividends, exec pay; fines announced, not paid; customers fleeced. No one protects people.

We all want public ownership

But HOW to take back water? Start by removing the licences of the very worst companies:

💧Thames Water which wants to pollute OUTSIDE legal limits until 2040 ⁉️
💧South East Water which failed to provide 30,000 homes with water last week 🥤

The new White Paper on Water is old wine in new bottles. We already have all the laws in place to hold water companies accountable for breaking the terms of their licences.

The government should be bolder. Fine England's water companies into oblivion, and take them into public ownership.
