I have pretty much zero interest in football but I accidentally started watching a documentary on BBC1 tonight about Alex Ferguson and found it really quite absorbing

@bbcradio3.bsky.social's European road trip over the last few days has been fantastic, the BBC at its best. They're in Reykjavik this morning and it's bringing back some great memories from my visits there. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...

In Australia and NZ the lights and windscreen wiper stalks are on opposite sides of the steering wheel. Since getting home I keep randomly flashing people and wiping my windows when I go round corners.

The Naked Week has to be one of the worst 'comedies' R4 has ever produced and it has some strong competition. I think it's about time they just gave up with comedy. (Except Mark Steele's In Town)

The joke about if Notre Dame had been in the UK it would still be rubble is funny but also very true and we should ask ourselves serious questions why that's the case.

Having another vet in parliament already making a real difference to animal welfare. Great news that this legislation is one step closer to becoming law.

I'd like to start going to a gym to help me lose some flab and improve my cardio fitness but I have never stepped foot in a gym, wouldn't know where to start and would be actually quite anxious about it.

Right, got some oil delivered and the boiler restarted for the first time this winter. Always a messy job... (house will stink like a petrol station for the next month).

In a sweeping statement based on a total of 3 weeks in the country; Australia seems like America minus the bad bits ie. the guns, drugs, obesity, and mental politicians. Plus some good bits from the UK, eg. politeness, sense of humour, anti-establishment attitude, and cricket.

Just been for a tour around Fremantle prison. It only closed in 1991 and tbh not a great deal had changed since it was built by convicts in the 1800s. It must have been *really* grim being an inmate. Behind bars tour was excellent, just annoyed I didn't pre-book the tunnels tour.

Really enjoyed my small road trip in the south west of WA. It really surprises me how many small towns in Australia (and NZ) still have a butcher, bakery, post office, police station etc. Conversely there seem to be very few big chains outside the main cities.

Photo peeps. So I accidentally forget to set the time/date on one camera before this holiday and now all my photos from that camera have the wrong Exif data. Is there any app that can batch change the time/date incrementally on all images if I know the original start time/date?
