Although blsky is a much friendlier place for artists, I often see posts with a ton of likes and reblogs, but very few comments. Nowadays I try to leave a comment on the cool stuff I see here and I encourage everyone to do the same:) Lets build that community we're all missing!

Unsolicited writing advice, no. 132678:
You don't need to write every day: you just need to keep your imagination alight. Feed it with books, with art, with films and theatre. That way it will always be ready when you need it.

What do you mean a graphic card now cost more than half of a whole PC a few years ago?

reminder that you can replace three (or more) distinct brush sizes with a single one if you do this sort of thing (without the fiddliness and exhaustion of having to carefully maintain three specific ranges of pressures, like you would on brushes that usually have a straight diagonal line in here)

Oh, I have feet panels!
(seriously I need to finish at least one project to share and be a "real" comic artist not just a trying to be one)

I just realised there is not really a good art website in my life anymore where I could go and look for inspiration etc.
Deviantart & Artstation supports genAI stuff, social media algorithms are useless, guess I could try to use Cara more often, idk.

I finally finished that commission that didn't have a real deadline therefore it took forever to make, such a freeing feeling. You might see art from me again in the near future.

I don't make enough art that I could post nowadays (working on a secret comic, also working in full time for who knows what reason) and I don't want to post only rambling cause people will unfollow me lol. Eternal silence it is I guess.

Clumpws enjoys curling up in a wet, leafy mound with a good book and a family-sized bag of mulch or a chippy tea (“ wood chips, that is!”). Be careful when clearing out that woodpile. Clumpws might be in there absorbed in a Ken Follett.

Like silent dreams and comforted rest
Where clouds drape coolly upon the stone
In the mountains deep, and wild forest”
