I've never been more convinced Australia has the worst mainstream journalists in the world. Simple, thick, racist, ahistorical, bootlicking dipshits that lie and screech more than they think and feel. This weaponisation of a tragedy against anti-genocide voices is grotesque.

Elsevier’s Science Direct now pops up with an AI ‘reading assistant’ (that you have close every fucking time) to presumably help you quickly understand what an academic article is about.
That’s what the fucking abstract is for

I think for many; last night felt like a moral victory after the pain of the voice referendum. It was so easy to fear Australia had lost its way; lost its kindness.
It certainly felt that way for so many of my family & friends.
It feels safer today.
Thank you Australia.

It’s not just Dutton and Liberal National Coalition defeated at this election. It is lies and hate, it is division and extremism, it is a political party reliant on fear campaigns that polarise and spread fear and confusion. Australia has said no to MAGA politics. This is bigger than an election win

A correction for the muppets at #SkyNews. Although the legislation to ban live exports passed in 2024. The ban itself doesn't come into effect until 2029. So the exports are still ongoing. There is NOTHING to reinstate. #auspol

The Trump regime - like Brexit - is showing us how much it costs a country - socially, culturally, economically - to make democratic decisions based on hate and division. This is what’s behind Australia’s fears of Dutton. Hate is not a smart way to make democratic decisions. Is everyone listening?

Australian universities are not 'funded' by the US. Some joint research projects receive funding from US agencies, totalling less than 1% of expenditure on our universities.

Let's fill this small gap publicly, and support our universities in telling Trump to piss off.
