I've not had a chance to put in quite as many hours as others pre-release, but I can confirm that this one is legit. Gritty sci-fi tactics from the Battle Brothers team.
Onboarding could be a bit better in early access (get a B-team ASAP, there's fatigue), but there's a lot of game here to chew on.

Onboarding could be a bit better in early access (get a B-team ASAP, there's fatigue), but there's a lot of game here to chew on.

Yep, another game that got savaged because people smelled blood in the water.
It's not life-changing or anything, but it's a solid, good-looking wizardy shooter that does some pretty fun stuff with its spell-customization.
It sucks that the studio were immediately disbanded after patching it up.

Reconozco que cuando empecé a interesarme por los Wargames, tenía bastante miedo de encontrarme bastante... "nostálgico".

Fantastic video looking at just how much stuff is coming out on Steam even during a 'dead' period.
There's so much good stuff lurking in there but you need to have *skills* and TOOLS to dig through the garbage. Being able to filter it effectively is a big deal.

I think the big surprise with my GOTY list is gonna be just how high I rate Tormented Souls 2, a game that seemingly nobody else I knew has had a lick of interest in, but I had such an incredible time with because it tickled my oldschool survival horror sicko sensibilities so very well.
