New paper: Do social media algorithms shape affective polarization?

We ran a field experiment on X/Twitter (N=1,256) using LLMs to rerank content in real-time, adjusting exposure to polarizing posts. Result: Algorithmic ranking impacts feelings toward the political outgroup! 🧵⬇️

Superb shot! Is there a greater contrast in the bird world between pedestrian name and stunning appearance?
Okay… this is the first male wood duck solo portrait I’ve taken

I manage to sneak up on about 20 over a short bridge and their slow movements showed they barely noticed me there

My favorite detail are the iridescent feathers on his back that seems to frame the face in starburst
