CPA with a PhD in Nuclear Engineering. My employer does not admit to having opinions, so any opinions here must be mine.
Every word the president spoke tonight was a lie, including “and” and “the.” I don’t know which prospect is more troubling: that he knows it’s a lie but ranted it out to the world like some demented dictator, or that his staff allows him to think that it’s true.

Some thoughts:

1. Micro-sized nuclear reactors are an interesting idea that could solve some significant challenges

2. The DOE has a long history of developing experimental reactor designs. It is completely appropriate that they be involved in the development of micro-sized nuclear reactors 1/

The Democrats in the Senate want to subsidize the cost of healthcare. The Republicans don’t want these funds to go to the insurance companies. So it seems a single-payer system administered by the government is the perfect compromise.

ICE terrorists kidnapping Afghan refugees outside a mosque here in Albany. If they are sent back to Afghanistan, they will almost certainly be killed. How do we stop this?
Afghans arrested by ICE in Albany amid crackdown after D.C. shooting

Just got out of another “explanation of employee benefits” meeting. My cost per paycheck is going up by 67%, and it is easy to compare plans if you have a relevant PhD and decades of experience. I don’t understand how anybody can sit through that and not come out in favor of single-payer healthcare.

Apparently the Scouts are too woke for the misogynist Chief Warmonger. Maybe we could form a competing group more loyal to the president and his priorities - sort of a Trump Youth Corps?

Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

In under 1600 words.

It is a great tragedy that the UN Convention on Genocide disincentivizes the recognition of ongoing genocide because a country that recognizes a genocide is required to take action to prevent it 1/

If you are concerned about what is happening in the country, the easiest and most important thing you can do right now is VOTE. Don’t think this election doesn’t matter because there are no federal races on your ballot.

It’s Ace Week! 🖤💜

Ace Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness, build community, and create change around the world.

It’s also a time to lift up asexual voices and help people better understand asexuality, which is often overlooked or misunderstood.
