Alright, it's New Year's Eve, and that can mean only one thing... my annual run-down of every game I played a meaningful amount of in 2025! That was a hell of a year for gaming, I'd say. Here we go, in no particular order 🧵:
Another playground game not mentioned: 50 Up (think it was called) which was a bit like tig but when you were caught you had to go to a "base" - if someone could then get to the base un-tigged and shout "50 50 save all" (no idea) then everyone could go free.

Not that I'm DESPERATE FOR THE ATTENTION or anything but slightly surprised no mention of the fact yer boy worked for Top Trumps for a bit.

Game 31: Sheffield United 3-1 Oxford United, Bramall Lane, Championship. Briefly looked like slipping up in the snow but a bit of a stroll in the end. Andre Brooks once again making a difference.

She dropped to CB today as our main one was suspended, played really really well. Think she might have got caught for the Charlton goal but otherwise stood strong all game.

While United's men's and women's teams are both probably finishing midtable, it is enjoyable that maybe 3 of our 4 most fun players are academy products (Andre Brooks, Femi Seriki and Tilly Bristow)
Another stellar performance from teenager Tilly Bristow today in midfield. Won 10/11 duels and was fouled 4 times, both the most by any player. Some great bursts through the middle too, all against the best team in the league.
