So is an increase in the price everything (March 4th tariffs), a slowdown of the economy (freezing funds & tariffs), stopping all support of Ukraine, clearcutting all of our forests (March 1st EO), destroying social security & medicaid (budget passed by U.S. House)...

Those that voted for him can't complain about faulty weather predictions. We need science and experts in our agencies: the cost savings of salaries will not even be close to the cost of disasters that we aren't prepared for because we don't have the right people at NOAA/National Weather Service.

The so-called "Fix Our Forests" Act would strip environmental laws, fast-track clear-cut logging, silence local communities, and put endangered species at even greater risk—all while failing to protect people from wildfires.
