Not only is this cold comfort that Trumpism likely wins only a bare majority (hardly a mandate), but Kamala ran an extraordinary campaign, overperformed incumbents in other democracies, and significantly narrowed the national rightward shift in swing states (the only states she campaigned in).
A 1.5% popular vote win--or as it'd be called anywhere else, a win--will put his margin at #50 among all 55 presidential elections in which the popular vote winner became president.
