I kind of *think* we make ambient. But since I don't really listen to what's being released, I have no idea if this is the good type of ambient or the bad type of ambient. I guess if everyone asked nicely, we could enact a moratorium.

Would anyone know where the French map in this interesting article is from? There's a very similar one at the BNF and I can't help but notice that most everyone gets a piece, or independence, but Polish cities are just ceded to Russia, because reasons.

This is fucking ace, and not just because, for once, I actually recognise names in a setlist.
Trying to make a press kit (argh), and a website, for Kilim Mosh and did a search to see if I'd missed any reviews and such... and by chance saw we'd been played on wfmu in late '24, which I have to say is kinda cool. Stuff percolating through the aether and all. Cheers @danmorfitt.com :)

Tonight's menu: half a marinated duck breast* (3-4 days in fridge), a shallot cut lengthwise and braised next to it, and a packet of fresh ramen. Pan deglazed with chinkiang and some fresh chili, dollop of kecap manis and sesame oil on ramen.

Something which struck me while making this, mostly using 1950s-60s footage from archive org, is the sheer amount of *hope* placed on the future (which would be about now). Even when very obviously misguided, like spraying your pets or sofas with DDT, but contrast this with the last decade or so.
