On one of the rare occasions I commented on Polish politics on social media, a friend said "So interesting, you should write more often about it!" and ... that would mean actually staring into that specific abyss, and no one can make me. I may not have much of a life, but it's worth more than that.

There was another prominent poster going on about how the UK is much more anti-immigrant than the US, despite the pretty obvious absence of paramilitary goon squads snatching people off the streets, but it's a fool's errand trying to dissuade them of thinking they're right by default.

It just got too jingly-jangly for me at that point, a bit blandly, and I couldn't avoid hearing it anyway when out, my friends bought the records etc. It was a bit of the proverbial "it's not you, it's me" :)

My favs are: Bad Moon Rising, Evol and Sister. I tapped out at Goo. Sister is the most evocative for me, mostly because I bought and taped it just before holidays and so spent two weeks listening on repeat in Spain.
