I've been saying this for months. Many Canadians say things like "they're just a few kooks," "Alberta can't separate because of the Home Rule Act," etc. but that is immaterial in the current circumstances.

The Trump regime is using separatism as part of a larger propaganda machine.
Pay attention folks. Danielle Smith and the Alberta MAGA machine are using the Donbas playbook.
This isn't about "independence" it is about sedition and subservience to Trump.

🇨🇦Canada’s most fundamental problem with the 🇺🇸USA right now and for the foreseeable future isn’t so much Trump as it is the fact that roughly half the American electorate voted for him with eyes wide open, and that most of those still support him.
That mass insanity will not go away when he does.

open.substack.com/pub/deanblun... Carney didn’t need to shout. He didn’t need to posture. He lined up the free world—Japan, the EU, Canada in lockstep—and showed Trump the cliff’s edge. Strategic brilliance doesn’t get louder than that.

Canadian researchers should be very concerned by Poilievre's promise to politicize federal research funding in Canada by ending supposedly mandatory 'woke ideology.'

A man scared of a simple question.
At 1:10, you can see how reporters are being controlled at Poilievre’s events.

Evan Dwyer was on CBC tonight describing how tightly controlled the CPC events are. Apparently the campaign is asking what questions will be in advance, and choosing who can ask the questions. 4 Qs, no follow-up.
