Surely Congress can find something in his actions over the past ten months as a basis for impeachment. Third time’s a charm, so they say.

Yet our city council, in its wisdom, approved the building of this arena just last week (despite the team clearly voicing its objections).

So now we will have an under-utilized arena AND less green space. And more debt.

Their priorities are stunningly misplaced. This stinks.

Scheer pretending that he tried to vote with the app and had technical problems, allowing him to see if his vote would make any difference and vote when the tally was known, was just another of many dishonest ways in which he has conducted himself.

LOL. Kate Harrison, the Conservative member of the panel on David Cochrane’s show, says that ”the Conservatives weren’t asking for much” in the budget. With a straight face and everything.

The media are the only ones hoping for an election.

I think that the chances of the budget failing are slim to none. Nonetheless, I will be watching the vote on the floor at around 6:45.

I wrote the Bar exam in two different provinces, back when you could only apply for call (without writing the exam) in another province if you had 5+ years of practice.

You need to demonstrate competency. The firm/agency for whom you are articling is supposed to ensure that you have the skills.

It’s shocking how many people cannot interpret data or understand how inflation rates work.

Too many look at the graph for groceries and shelter and have the immediate reaction that they are being lied to, that prices “haven’t dropped”.

I'm so old that I remember that whenever there was an election, a list of all of your neighbours and their occupations was posted on a telephone pole. You were supposed to look at it and make sure you were on the voters' list.

It was a great way to find out what your neighbour did for a living.
