my mother said the night Obama won reelection " we are gonna pay for this so buckle up." and this was in 2012. my mother was also on the front lines of the Civil Rights Movement.
Was speaking to one of my elder mentors yesterday. And she said "I grew up during the Civil Rights era. It's about to get worse than it was then. And we are gonna need you all to be ready. I can't believe that we are back there."
