So much THIS. There reason Gen X is "invisible" is because our whole brand was "I don't need a label, man" and never balked when stories said we were killing everything. We KNOW we're Gen X, but we could give a shit what that means because just being in a generation doesn't change your life one bit.
In my experience, those born between 1970 and 1985 don’t particularly give a shit what generation they are because the concept of “generations” wasn’t as aggressively force-fed down their throats by marketers as people who were born after 1985.

So I enjoyed "Pee Wee Himself" on HBO Max, however why was it cutting to black all the time? It feels like it was made for commercial television. As if they were place holders for ads. Highly, highly distracting.
