I actually haven’t enjoyed this test match at all - it’s almost been like one of those joke, beer matches that they used to play when a club game finished early, reversing the batting order and letting everyone have a bowl.

After the tragic events at the football the before, I needed to detox and release my inner geek yesterday by playing buses at the annual heritage bus running day in and around Bromley. As always, it didn’t disappoint, especially when the “mystery bus” turned out to be one I’d never ridden on before.

A sad day, only 62. Robin played one season for Ickenham CC as a 17-year-old and made an immediate impression. A seriously good man too as well as a fine cricketer.
