I wrote a little bit about the PDS_ADMIN_PASSWORD and some painpoints with when it comes to administering Blacksky's PDS.

We want to give a brief update on spam accounts that have been sending notifications to people. We are aware of the bug, and our current fix is to remove those accounts when reported or detected. This is an issue at the protocol level and not unique to our server.
