Toy starships left on the floor are a simple hazard that roll Stealth for initiative, deal 2d4 piercing damage, have the deadly (2d4) trait, and deal 1d6 extra falling damage and knock the target prone on a critical hit.
Also if they're electronic you may take psychic damage from the sound effects.

Ilberd is one of the few antagonists in the game who not only achieves his goal but ends up being proven right by the narrative. His methods were awful and resulted in a lot of people dying, but if he hadn't done what he did, the other city-states wouldn't have intervened to free Ala Mhigo.

got invited to join an ExtraLife team for Game Day!!! we'll be playing Daggerheart which i know nothing about. the first thing one of my new teammates did was show me a cool rock so i have a good feeling about this though

Activate [2] (concentrate, manipulate)
This odd stone tablet contains a magicked scroll that wraps around two rolls allowing it to seemingly continue to be rolled forever. The tablet itself is unremarkable, but the soft and alluring blue glow it produces seems to draw viewers towards it, inviting them to take it into their hands and see what it has to say. It occasionally softly buzzes and emits a bell-like sound if left alone for a period of time, attempting to make itself noticed to anyone around. Composing the missive requires you to write vapid, but inflammatory snippets of text that stoke fear, laughter, and anxiety in a dizzying array of half-truths.
The activating creature must succeed on a DC 24 Will save or become obsessed with the words on the tablet for 1 hour, taking a -1 status penalty to Arcana, Diplomacy, Religion, and Society checks. During this time, if they attempt to have an involved conversation or argument with another creature, they become stupefied 1 for the rest of the duration of the effects of this missive. When they recover from this stupefied condition, the missive's effects end. another thing that's fun about this is estinien's trust npc is programmed to get hit by a mechanic the first time but he won't get hit the second time it happens - it's how he "learns" 🥹 also! i think people forget the AOE telegraphs and cast bars we as the players see are explained as the echo!
new cookbook has estinien arguing with someone over mechanics, i fucking love it
