highly recommend both the article and the idea! i do something similar for my Kingmaker character—her journal includes all the tactics she knows (i bookmark the ones she's prepared for the day), an expenses tracker (which i need to update, oops) and journal entries. and some research...

RIP my terrible horrible no-good very bad starship captain, Yashtavi Kaiaresh. she's not dead but she is being hunted by that void demigod for ghosting him after he hired her in exchange for keeping her cool shadow powers. (art by Satina, who has since deactivated their socials afaik.)
