Like many kdrama fans, I am trying to learn Korean. I learned about “Bon shim Bon tae yong” in a sunrise meditation. It can also be a metaphor: ‘Your true mind is like the sun that is always shining, even when there are clouds (confusion, suffering, chaos).’ It’s kinda nice don’t you think?

I hope everyone had a good Christmas. Now the gifts are opened, the kitchen cleaned up, guests gone and I have time to binge watch kdrama! I’m about halfway through #ProBono, and #DynamiteKiss and #Cashero starts today! I feel almost giddy. I also want to see #NoOtherChoice. Yay!

Celebrating all of our Veterans on this Veterans Day 2025. This is my dad, Rudy, in his early 20s. He was an immigrant who came to the US when he was 8. He joined the Navy and served during WWII in the Pacific Theater. Thank you to all who served. Love you Dad
