Which Democratic leaders will stand up and say this clearly and loudly and repeatedly? Yes, it's hard to do, but your constituents and Americans generally will reward you for it. Do it. You'll feel better.
Posting this not to instill panic or offer some frisson of danger, but instead to say "we're running concentration camps, and we have to shut all this down *completely* before it gets much, much worse, because left unchecked, it always does."

Demolishing the East Wing of the White House before finalizing plans for what will be built above its ruins is a near-perfect metaphor for Trump's approach to economic policy. The only difference is the wrecking crew doesn’t claim the rubble is evidence of unprecedented growth.

Seems likely to backfire as Kelly is widely admired and respected both professionally and for standing by his wife when she was horribly injured in an assassination attempt. Also, can we drown the Dept of War in the Gulf of America?
Hegseth is now threatening to recall Sen. Mark Kelly to active duty in order to court martial him.
