It's effectively impossible to boycott US companies because they own so many British brands. You'd have to stop buying Cadburys, Walkers Crisps, HP sauce.... or shopping at Gails or Waterstones etc etc...

Listening to Kingfishr's new album & the singer sounds a lot less Irish & a lot more American - I don't know if this is a conscious decision but the whole accent thing is what warmed me to them in the first place.

Dumbphones should be more of a thing - there should be an option to buy a phone that just does calls and text messages without it looking like baby boomer's first mobile.

i will never watch the video. i don't care who's getting killed. i won't watch someone get murdered. i'm glad video evidence exists because it belongs on a court of law, but it doesn't belong on my screen.

From what I read, Brainbloodvolume by Ned’s Atomic Dustbin was panned at the time for being a massive departure from their original sound and not following the Britpop trend of the mid-90s but I say this is one of the best albums I’ve ever heard in my life.
