GIMME! This looks so awesome! It's the latest project from the creator of the amazing PicoGUS device. Can't wait for it!
Are you ready for #PicoIDE? It seems to be telling me it's ready. Coming soon: ATAPI optical disc emulation and IDE hard drive emulation. picoide.com

Submitted an application myself.

I never learned of this site until now, but even putting the crazy catalog of music aside, this UI is ART! I love it!
Once again I am endorsing chiptune.app as my favourite music streaming service (it's free.)

Love the construction of this photo!
Amstrad CPC version of Barbarian.
The fight is over and the lizard drags away your opponent.

Real stuff not emulation: CRT scanlines, same gaming conditions as back then.

Well hi everyone! It's @pxa.ca, your humble BigBoxDB Bluesky posting dude. You may have noticed the feed's been pretty quiet for the last while and I haven't been too active on the Discord either.

I hate long threads so don't worry, this won't be one either.

Interested in the wild 1980s UK computer games scene?

A long-lost BBC documentary on the 1984 Christmas release season has been posted on their archive YouTube channel.

This shows the real-time downfall of Imagine Software and the rise of Ocean. Fascinating watch!

Yet another reason why @gog.com is the GOAT! They've added an almost Steam Workshop-like system to one-click install mods for a variety of classic titles. All vetted and tested by their team and in partnership with the mod authors.

This is brilliant! Well done!

Do you long for Aero aesthetics sometimes? I mean, most of us still have nightmares about Windows Vista, but that bubbly, rounded, partially transparent UI was a vibe, yaknow'?

Someone has made an archive of the Fruitiger subgenre. Apparently Aero has subgenres! Get lost in these vibes!

Our illustrious leader @adamzwakk.com has a new project online! SpinJump.net is an aggregator tool that pulls together Super Mario ROM hacks from various different sites and puts them in one place, with info and download links for each one!

I'm a big fan of these "album cover" style boxes (more packages really), but you don't often see ones that aren't from EA or sometimes Activision. This is a non-English European title that looks awesome!

These boxes just grabbed your eyeballs at a distance. So much going on, yet it all comes together so well.

The X games are hardcore, but some of the best space sims out there, if you're willing to wait a good while for patches after each release.
Snapped some photos of my X-Beyond the Frontier box and stitched it up in Microsofts ICE.

What a vibrant box, right?

I'm asking for no money, and I'll donate all the materials and work to the cause
