My introverted ass hates to say it, but I think I needed to be around people. Brain chemistry fixed? I woke up at a normal time this morning, cleaned a little, sorted my records and fixed a wobble in my record player, and I haven't even gone to work yet. Is this the human brain without depression?

I'm loving The Sound a Body Makes When It's Still, but I was not prepared for how the album is just soaked in grief. Like, it's Hot Mulligan, I knew to expect sad shit, but this is hitting deeper. Or maybe it's just me.

My music discovery cheat code is being on TikTok after 2 AM, I swear it's all small bands on my feed after that. For instance, discovered two bands last night, Tournefort and Cinema Stare. Both with around 2,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, but it's good shit. Big recommend.
