My personal copies of issues 1 through 4 of A Profound Waste of Time finally arrived. Utterly fantastic looking, the cardstock feels sublime, the articles are gorgeously laid out, with interesting typography, and their content is incredibly insightful. 10/10 will buy again.

I have no idea if this creator has a film background, but if not, they have an incredible eye for composition. This, and their other works, would actually be a great teaching tool for an editing/boarding/cinematography class. Clever camera angles, strong posing, and easy to follow despite quick cuts
