Sheesh. Some reporters seem to need to learn that a road is NOT a 'spot.' Recently published crime statistics for Peel region list 15 'hotspots.' Are all simply road names, and only three are less than 5km long!

Well, it looks like I am going to be without water for a while. The water main nearby was having a leak repaired, but it broke completely before the work could be finished.
My sympathies to the poor city workers who are going to be working in that at -9C!

U.S. Ambassador to Canada Pete Hoekstra is proving that he doesn't understand just how pissed Canadians are. The USA has proven that it cannot be trusted, so any trade agreement with the USA is worthless. We are much better off looking for trade partners we can trust.

I will say that Doug Ford and his administration are easily giving the best appearance of a corrupt provincial government of any administration I can recall.

Doug Ford has said he will not be moving forward with _consultations_ about changing the law around tenant leases. It says nothing about whether or not he will simply change the law without bothering to consult with anyone.

I wonder if Metrolinx will reschedule their track work on the Kitchener line if the World Series goes to seven games. Game 7 of the series would be held in Toronto, but Metrolinx has already said there won't be service on the Kitchener line that weekend.
