Dutton's protection racket for fossil fuels is gearing up in the lead up to the election, so he can claim a mandate. He is going to wipe out the subsidy for new electric vehicles and punishment owners with a road tax on their use all whilst leaving in place the $billions in fossil fuel subsidies.

What a great excuse to get out of this stupid deal organised by the LNP.
How can an import tariff imposed by trump impact the price on contracted goods purchased by Australia.
It sounds like price gouging by a grifter president and his financial manipulating mate

Joe Hockey goes in to bat for US investors in Trump trade dispute with Australia
A group of disgruntled Americans are pushing for millions of dollars in compensation from Australia, as part of US trade negotiations. Now they have a former ambassador on their side.

I simply can't believe that there is so little fear over the total collapse of the US constitution and adherence to the rule of law.
Trump's cabal have refused to hand over evidence, follow cease and desist orders nullifying the role of the courts and the parliament.
Leaving only the military

Finally...recognition that MAFS normalises domestic violence and coercive control in the name of entertainment.
It is triggering to so many women who are DV survivors.

Beneath glossy production, MAFS enables toxic relationships, normalising coercive control and domestic violence in the name of entertainment.

It has been obvious since Trump's re-election that the USA has no respect for or willingness to support its alliances of any type.
Australia must built new ones or risk suffering the same treatment as Ukraine if we turn to them as an ally

When Trump said that if you vote for him you'll never have to vote again, he was not lying.
It has been 80 years since WW2 which was the last time the oligarchs destroyed democracy in Germany and were then defeated but it's looking like they are now unassailable

Hillsong at it again.

It always seems those who sit in judgement, demand compliance, profess to understand god's word and claim its protection who do the wrong thing.

Churches are nothing more than self promoting businesses not derserving of any kind of special place, status or privilege.

The only good thing about the election of Trump and his non tax paying oligarch puppet masters is the warning it offers to Australia.
Dutton is under the control of Rhinehart, Murdoch and their think-tank the IPA, all of whom are, or represent oligarchs.

Robert Reich hits the nail on the head again.
Even though the rich want us to believe we face a war between woke left and hard working folk, the reality is we have a war between democracy (of, by and for the people) and the oligarchs ( of, by and for the rich)

It’s the third time in the nation’s history that a small group of hyper-wealthy people have gained political power over the rest of us. Here’s what we must do.

Now in Qld a child, not allowed, to drink, drive, vote or marry will be punished more severely for murder than any adult.
The average length of human life is 84 years so a 14 year old child will get a 70 year sentence and a 44 year old wife murder will serve 40.
