Ever since reading Thinking in Bets, I cannot help but constantly reframe options & scenarios into probabilities - especially with my 4yr-old gdaughter.

Life is more like poker than chess. Thanks Annie!

Gratitude to me feels like it’s nestled in warmth. I feel it when I hear my granddaughter say, “BB & Papa,” in her sweet breathy voice. It’s as if the words hold magic & are best used in little bits because of their power.

What does gratitude feel like? How can we let people know the impact they had on our lives while they are still alive and not just words said at their funeral?

Do you feel respected?

Respect begins with self-respect. Before we can be there for others, we need to recognize and honor our own needs and limits.

Hello poets &

- for this week's #LiftToTheSky I'd like to call out Sherry Rind’s Between States of Matter

"Some of it breaks and reforms like meteorites
but never escapes our gravity, carrying the stories
of our little eruptions

Still remember convincing my dad to buy an Apple Lisa in the late ‘70s. He ran a construction company & bookkeeping was done on a machine the size of a small pickup truck. I said he could simplify that process.

It’s all about the stories …

Privileged to read early copy of #SilentY by #KatherineBenfante.

Swept away in a thought experiment that seems so absurd, yet reveals elements that brush (sometimes too closely) with undercurrents in today’s world.

For lovers of Handmaid’s Tale, felt very Gilead.
