The fact that Charlie Kirk's murder is what brings out the feelings of white evangelical men shows just how deeply embedded white supremacy is in our churches. It legitimately makes me grieve.

I lament all political violence, and that includes Charlie Kirk. At the same time, if we are not able to state the truth that his language was at bare minimum harmful against other image bearers, then we are failing to speak the truth in love.

A child died because their parents didn't get them vaccinated. That is heartbreaking.

It’s weird this has to be said but… there is no “warrior culture” in following Jesus.
Sure, Christianity & Christendom have made room for that.
But it’s VERY plainly not there in the story of the dude who rebuked a follower for drawing and using a sword as he was arrested.
