Hi Bluesky!

I am continuing my many SciFi/Horror/Fantasy walkthroughs here.

In a walkthrough I review all canon & expanded universe media for a show in publication/release order.

In progress walkthrus shall continue here but I will add a link to the partial thread on X for continuity's sake.
@nancycomics.bsky.social I bought this beauty this morning. My first purchase of 2026. I'm excited to see how Nants deals with mobiles, social media and zoom calls. I still expect Sluggo to be like Buck Rogers in the 25th Century by being a fish out of water with all the tech stuff.

Bernard's 2025 walkthroughs review.

This is just for radio or audio shows. Note to be included I must have finished the walkthrough in 2025.

#ThePriceOfFear: 6/10

Vincent Price is great but I found this series to be a bit middling overall. The horror didn't land right.

Placeholder for my BlueSky walkthrough of "The Price of Fear":

1973-83: 21 x UK Radio eps [✔️all online]

This stars Vincent Price so yeah that title is a bit on the nose!

Bernard's 2025 walkthroughs review.

Non-English language shows:

#Khauf: 9/10

Finally an Indian TV show that isn't insecure wanna be fluff. I loved the drama, the magic, the characters. Everything about this is so damn fine.

bsky.app/profile/bern...
Placeholder for my BlueSky walkthrough of "Khauf":

2025: 8 x Indian TV eps (✔️Prime)

Uh-oh yet another Indian horror series on Amazon Prime. They're all pretty poor but maybe one will decide not to be mush.

Bernard's 2025 walkthroughs review.

English language shows:

#The4400: 5/10

Loses a point for its unwatchable 2021 remake but this show at best was a poor man's #Taken. It drifted aimlessly into thr superpowers genre. A strong cast deserved better. Underwhelmed.

bsky.app/profile/bern...
Placeholder for my Bluesky walkthrough of #The4400:

2004-07: 44 x US TV eps [✔️have on DVD]

2008-09: 4 x Novels [✔️purchased]

2021-22: 13 x US TV eps reboot "4400" [❌yet to find]

I'm a bit suspicious of what that short lived reboot could be like.

@continuumdrag.bsky.social Here's my Twitter walkthrough of #Threshold. I think this show failed due to scope creep as the nature of the alien threat grows every week. It needed to pick a lane with which tech was the threat. It become too wide a threat, like unstoppable.

@continuumdrag.bsky.social loved your Doctor Who discussion on Freakylinks 3 & 4 in that ye had no ideas about it
like none of you either Classic Who or NuWho. I was LOLing at the half remembered nature of the discussion.

The Brits thinking everyone calls it Boxing Day is always the end of year reminder that their society is still stuck in its own nonsense. The Brits are far closer to the US populace than they know.
December 26, 2025 at 11:30 PM
Visited my brother's and watched:

Placeholder for my BlueSky walkthrough of another DuMont television show "Steve Randall" (aka "Hollywood Off-Beat"):

1952-53: 35 x US TV eps [✅4 found online, ❌2 more are archived but unavailable]

I think there were actually just 13 eps made as this was filmed so the later eps are reruns.
December 22, 2025 at 3:30 AM
Placeholder for my BlueSky walkthrough of another DuMont TV network show "Rocky King, Detective":

1950-54: 252 x US TV eps [✅8 on YouTube,❌ up to 45 eps survive in various archives unavailable but likely a lot less number]

Having 8 survivors in public domain isn't bad for DuMont TBF!!
December 21, 2025 at 9:00 AM
Placeholder for by BlueSky walkthrough of "Man Against Crime":

1949-56: 213 x US TV eps [✔️ I found 38 eps online. One or two more may exist?]

1951-52: 6 x Comics [❌yet to look for]

BTW I'm guessing both S2 and S3 had ~42 eps each as no list found as yet. Nothing exists in any case.
December 19, 2025 at 7:01 AM
Another placeholder for my BlueSky walkthrough of a DuMont Network TV series. This time it is for "Shadow of the Cloak":

1951-52: 36 x US TV eps [✔️just 1 ep survives and is on YouTube]

At least the sole surviving ep is in the 30 minute format (not 15 minutes) and was written by Rod Serling.
December 18, 2025 at 1:35 AM
Placeholder for my BlueSky walkthrough of another DuMont show "Front Page Detective":

Another placeholder for my Bluesky walkthrough of a DuMont Network TV show. This one is for "The Stranger":

1954-55: 34 x US TV eps [✅2 eps exist- only 1 public domain]

Well 1 out of 34 isn't as bad as 1 out of 233 I guess!!!
December 17, 2025 at 8:39 PM
I want to get a watch of some DuMont Network TV shows. DuMont TV network only broadcast 1946-1956.

Placeholder for my BlueSky walkthrough of "The Plainclothesman":

Only 1 lousy ep of 233 eps!! Awwww for faaark sake!!
