The Anglican, Lutheran and United Churches in Alberta have written to Danielle Smith condemning her use of the notwithstanding clause to punch down on the vulnerable Albertans.

A first for Alberta - a legislative petition, not just a policy petition, demanding the prohibition of all new coal mines (including Grassy) on the eastern slopes of the Rockies.
Way to go Corb.

Yet ANOTHER evidence-free & disastrous policy move by Alberta.

NO evidence will help system. On the contrary: > costs < equity > inefficiencies < quality

Are they TRYING to ruin AB?

The reviews are coming in on the UCP's American lesson plans they're offering parents while teachers are on strike...

From this Grade 1 teacher, not only do they not align with the UCP's curriculum...

They aren't even based in what most Grade 1 kids can do.

I hate this fucking UCP government!!! 🤬
Only in Alberta...

Does the mandate letter for the minister of environment include...

- Increase the use of plastic products
- Decrease protections for endangered species
- Fight for looser emissions controls
- Build an argument that Alberta's burning forests are Carbon sinks.

Wow, BC actually cares about lowering the amount Albertans pay for electricity, unlike the UCP.

The abuse Evan received in #Calgary #AlbertaNext from #BruceMcAllister is a pattern. This time it was a high school student. McAllister should have been fired after Edmonton. No company would accept an employee with this abusive behaviour. Why are we paying this guy?
Alberta Next says “have your say” — until you do. Then the moderator spits “get lost” and calls you “disgusting.” They preach engagement while silencing voices. The mask slips, and the farce is plain. #Ableg #ABpoli #AlbertaNext #AlbertNextPropagandaTour

#BruceMcAllister makes a base salary of $14,000 a month paid for by taxpayers. Note the panelists have endorsed this behaviour and are complicit in accepting this at each town hall because they keep showing up and never speak out. This includes a retired judge & a University Professor. #AlbertaNext

When a high school kid tried to raise concerns about the teachers strike, Bruce McAllister cut the kids mic and then suggested his parents should have beaten him more.

Listen to the clip yourself…

Danielle Smith and the UCP are willing to give insurance companies more than double the raise in one year that they’re willing to give teachers in one year.

(Plus even good drivers will see a 7.5% increase on their insurance)
