When ever I buy eggs I always say (too loudly) “Free Range” in the style of Mark E. Smith. Obviously nobody in the shop has a clue what I’m on about.

Kudos to the bird that managed to shit an image of itself onto this bloke's car.

I’ve stood & then sat next to the same bloke at Arsenal for nigh on 40 years. Seconds before Rice took his first free kick he said to me “Nothing will bloody come of this” and I’m never going to let him forget it!

I thought I was done with super hero stuff but then Daredevil Reborn has sucked me back in. Gritty, emotional and very well written. The actors are knocking it out of the park.

That was fun. Only last night I said to my mate “Be tricky over there. They looked great against Juve”. 😀. #arsenal

This plaque in Prague has been rubbed to a shiny gold because for centuries, passersby have touched the dog for good luck, and also to reassure him that he's a very good boy. 14/10

Can’t believe that there is not single decent player in the world that wouldn’t want to come to Arsenal for a bit & help the squad but you’ve still got to dream. My dream is Tierney scoring an injury time winner in the CPL final with an overhead kick. 😀

RIP David Lynch, a true maverick of cinema and TV. As a teenager I remember seeing Eraserhead on VHS and it changed my ideas about what cinema could be. Twin Peaks did the same when it came to TV. With films as diverse as BlueVelvet & Straight Story the world has lost a true master of his craft.

Last night I watched La Llorona (2019 film) from Guatemala on @shudder.com Fascinating take on a piece of Mexican folklore. Not a full blown horror but has a creeping sense of dread. Beautifully directed, photographed and acted.

There is a fascinating 1970’s #documentary about Clint Eastwood on BBC iplayer.
Includes interviews with the man himself but also Richard Burton, Sergio Leone, Don Siegel and a very critical Pauline Kael.

And my second post is to recommend D-Day, The Unheard Tapes on BBC iplayer.
It uses actors lip syncing to archive tape recordings & is very powerful.

So my first post on this platform will be to suggest that you go see the band WH Lung when they tour in February this year. Seen them twice now and both times they have been sensational.
