@acollierastro.bsky.social hey, really like your channel. You mentioned in a video that you were writing one about Schrödinger, did that one get published? Sorry if I'm being dumb, I couldn't see one. Interested to hear your take.

Keir Starmer: you are actually the leader of the Labour Party, so stop letting your every utterance and decision to be influenced by what Reform voters think. I don't give a fuck what Reform voters think. Deliver Labour policies, you fanny.

Watching 8yo dish up their own breakfast be taking fistfuls of cereal from the packet. Might let them have that pack to themselves.

Getting the proletariat to facilitate and celebrate the destruction of their own great institutions, like the NHS and BBC, is a masterful piece of manipulation on the part of the bourgeoisie and their media and political puppets. Well played, fascist pig billionaires.

The problem with bringing the water industry back into social ownership is that then it could invest the surplus it makes in rebuilding Victorian infrastructure, instead of handing tens of billions of pounds to shareholders

This is clearly the best thing that's happened in ages. I'd forgotten how much joy watching Liz Truss brought me. May it be as good as Menshn.

The problem with the NHS and the benefits systems in The UK is not the amount of people using them for their intended purpose, it's the amount of for-profit, multinational corporations who are contracted to run them, and extract billions of pounds from them in the process.

Brought all my old OverheardPeople tweets over here. Reading through the old ones is fun. Annoyed by all the spelling mistakes etc.
Anyway, follow @overheardpeople.bsky.social for all your evesdropping needs. Sean Hughes followed it way back when, which was good.

BREAKING: It has been revealed that instead of paying for the King's coronation, we could have paid the wages of 2,057 nurses last year. I don't know about you, but I think it was worth sending nurses to foodbanks so the rich man could play fancy dress for the day x
