I’m grateful to hear Dr. Cottom in my head every time I see a comment about obviously modified faces/bodies. We are not the audience for their surgery results.
@tressiemcphd.bsky.social has repeatedly observed that the MAGA feminine aesthetic, instead of aiming for a coherent beauty heuristic, is meant *only* to signal female willingness to self-subjugate to a male desire.

I'm quite disappointed Robert Kaufman's not created their Kona Cotton calendar. Look, we don't need all the patterns that came with it; just do the dates half of the page with the gradient of colorways. Not that I actually used it as a calendar, but I'll miss having that gradient on my wall.

I had my mullet removed yesterday and I keep reaching back, thinking, "wait, what happened to my hair?! oh, right." (I'm not regretting it, I needed something new/different, just a change.)

I just love all the listicles of “cuts for thinning hair” that basically only feature men with either thick hair or no hair. You couldn’t have found people in-between? You know, people with THINNING hair?

It’s been a weird feeling, having the show up at the Art Center, knowing it’ll be there forever (until 2 Nov), and now it’s down, and all the headspace I had reserved for the show is now available for use again.
