The two faulty PDF redactions are perfect evidence that the DOJ used an LLM to redact the epstein documents. In this one (posted by Brad) it mis-id's SDNY as a person's initials and in the other it mis-identified sentences about epstein's activities.

Betcha a shiny nickel this is because they told their LLM to redact all the initials used to identify minor victims and so it also redacted S.D.N.Y

The reason this isn't going away is because the US is home to far more survivors of childhood sexual trauma than anyone wants to admit or who have been steeping in silence, shame, anger and quiet isolation.
They identify with those victims in ways they sometimes barely realize and they are PISSED.

I downloaded NYC vehicular collision data from 7/1/2012 to 7/22/2025 (N= ~ 2.2m) from here

Only about 3.5% MAX accidents that resulted in an injury or death to a pedestrian involved a bicycle or e-bike. 97% plus of accidents involve a vehicle OTHER than a bike.

If I ever saw software that I worked on used in this way, not sure I would know how to feel honestly.
Of course open source software has been used in war before, but seeing ArduPilot Mission Planner being used to blow up Russian strategic bombers is still wild.

I no longer use the NYC bike lanes. When Bloomberg designed them there were no amazon electric vehicles, citibikes, or uber eats. It's safer for everyone if I ride in the lanes with cars
