When I lived in Vegas, the constant police helicopters traumatized me so much that I now have panic attacks whenever I hear:
- medical helicopters
- passenger planes
- cars that rumble
- lawnmowers
- the fan. THE FUCKING FAN.
I hate my brain.

It's not like I'm rude. I'm polite, friendly, and enthusiastic to my coworkers. But if it's not about work, I keep to myself. For example, if I'm on break, just let me eat my PB&J in my own little corner. Y'all just wanna know all my business and have your asses kissed. That ain't gonna happen, bb.
I learned why I'm getting less hours/training than folks hired with me: I won't play the personality game.
Screw the fact that I come in ready and willing, offer to stay late, and do my job well. Since I'm not a brown-noser, I'm ignored or given grunt tasks.
The working world is a damn sick joke.

The figure in question is my older brother. I was always just a weird little sissy to him, and he made this very obvious very often. I'll admit he's been better since I reached adulthood, but there's never been a single apology. And let's face it; I am owed SO MANY.
