I'm just not cut out for seasonal retail work. It's one thing to be working in a store during the holidays when you've already been there a while, but being brand new during the busy season is so stressful and anxiety inducing because you're about to get no training, no feedback, and no rest.

The only thing worse than realizing after the fact that you may have made "at least 50 mistakes" in a social interaction is noticing each and every one of them as they happen.

When I discovered my first grey hair about a decade ago, I decided I was gonna grey naturally and with pride. But I need these grey hairs to at least TRY to come in evenly because my goatee is starting to look like Mr. Sheffield's head. Friggin' grey patch amongst a sea of black.

In all my years of life, I have not figured out how to perfectly time microwaved food so that it's hot all the way through, but not so hot that it burns my taste buds off. There's an art to this shit that I am just not grasping.
