Been watching a lot of Star Trek movies, and I really think First Contact is the best one. Yes, even better than Star Trek II

I love you so much, Blargy. And I always will.

We scheduled to say goodbye to Blargy tomorrow. He's the bestest, loviest, snuggliest, most belly-rub loving kitty there's every been. Saying goodbye is crushing my heart into a million pieces, but for so many years he filled me and my partner's lives with so much love and so much joy.

Yesterday, getting the news about my precious kitty boy, might have been the worst day of my life. The only thing that saved it was being lucky enough to be surrounded by wonderful friends and all their love.

Going to be mostly offline for a little bit. My cat received some devastating health news yesterday, and I'm going to need some time to get through this and grieve.

I think it's a travesty that Lightray doesn't have a secret identity on Earth named Ray Light.

the best thing about my police procedural, Jackie O'Lantern: Halloween Detective, is that every episode is a holiday special.

on a philosophical level, I understand that fruit shouldn't be hot. But on the other hand - pies.

I think we should launch a manned mission to mars, and to really commit to the bit, we exclusively recruit people already named John Carter to be astronauts

Reading conservative reviews of my non-binary middle grade prose books is the ultimate "Your Boos Mean Nothing, I’ve Seen What Makes You Cheer" moment.

In the latest update of BLADE MAIDENS...

In the first of a three-part short, Eldridge and Rowan share a quiet moment and some COMMON GROUND.

The whole short is available at www.blademaidens.com right now, with the other two pages being posted here tomorrow and Saturday.

Honestly, Sisyphus has it so easy. Just one task a time with no deadline sounds like heaven. Modern Sisyphus would need to roll 12 boulders up at the same time and do it under impossible time limits so Zeus can get his quarterly boulder bonus.

The biggest shock of this article is that Steve Jobs actually acknowledged his child's existence.
In 2014, a piece on how Steve Jobs was a "low tech parent," raising once again (in my mind) why these companies were fine exhorting me to expose my kid to their tech when their own execs wouldn't: www.nytimes.com/2014/09/11/f...
