Brainstorming for 4-dimensional dungeons. Just playing with physical components really helps me think through the possibilities.

What if I cut or folded the base paper? What if I add multiple floors (other sheets) and connected them at weird angles.... 🧵
It kind of surprises me that #Lego doesn't officially support #MobileFrameZero. It seems like an easy win.

Here's a fun little riddle I just made up:

What does an ice pick axe, the Strait of Gibraltar, the Large Hadron Collider, and the tiny Ascobolus immersus fungus have in common?

In an attempt to read more classic sci-fi, I read Larry Niven's "Ringworld". The narrative centrality of casual sexism made it almost unreadable. I get that it was the 70's but even by those standards it's unacceptable. Both female characters' main features are being hot, available, and dumb.

Damn, if this shit keeps up, people might start thinking billionaires are unethical.
Hell of a week for NBA owners. Within the last week, the Grizzlies owner was revealed to be a war criminal and owners for the Sixers and Lakers were included in the latest Epstein Files dump.

In a weird way, Spencer Jones being able to deliver huge value as a starter on the Nuggets should also remind us that it's absolutely fine if CB doesn't average even 10ppg when he comes back as long as he plays aggressive, energetic defense, hustles, screens, and stays active.

And now some "farmer" like Scott Bessent will buy up this guy's land at bankruptcy prices.
And he will have an in with the regime that allows him to bring latino farmworkers hassle-free onto *his* new property.
And if FAFO Farmer is lucky, he'll get to manage them on the farm he used to own.

Why is the YouTube algorithm feeding my anarchist Jewish atheist teenage son a staggering amount of church services, Bible studies, and right wing comedy?

"As the Ministry of Enlightenment outlines its propaganda against Gorman, it's likely that we, the audience, have been exposed to exactly this kind of propaganda against foreign states when their resources were needed by capital."

One of the many ways AI is making everything worse is that once companies have an AI product, they rebrand features they already had as "smart" and make you use their dumb AI if you want to keep using it.

No federal judge has the power or authority to make DOJ comply with the mandatory provisions of the Epstein Act, says Pam Bondi. It's unenforceable and meaningless. Essentially, DOJ is a lawless if not criminal enterprise, not a law enforcement agency, at this point.

Hang on, when we say that something is some color, that means that when you shine white light on it, it reflects that color light and absorbs the rest of the colors.

So does that mean that the color of a mirror is white?

Peyton Watson got so good, so abruptly, it's got to be making @nuggets.bsky.social's front office sweat trying to figure out how they're going to be able to afford to keep him.

@nuggets.bsky.social front office had a big miss by not signing Watson last summer, but they can still secure the rebound by getting Peyton Watson another contract.

This morning, my father in law started talking to me about an impeachment vote he was hearing about in the news. Turns out, he's been unwittingly watching AI generated news on YouTube.

In a sane society, there'd be regulations on AI generated content.
