Finally got a chance to watch Wake Up Dead Man, and I kept getting distracted by how much my dad would’ve loved it. He was a well-dressed Southern know-it-all with an affinity for the old school gentleman detectives. Benoit Blanc was extremely his shit.

My dad passed away yesterday. He asked to be cremated and didn’t want a funeral or even a visitation. He basically Irish goodbye’d off this mortal coil and I love him even more for it.
