I feel like you guys need to know that Meghan gave me a piece of information about this season that made me go "God damnit, I'm gonna have to watch this season of Squid Game, aren't I."
I think I'm probably in the minority of really liking the third and final season of SQUID GAME, partially because I'm a sucker for the "Battle Royale" genre and partially because Lee Jung-jae's whole run as Gi-hun is one of the all-time great TV performances. decider.com/2025/06/27/s...
'Squid Game' Season 3 Review: The Netflix hit gets a twisted, poetic ending (that also teases a new beginning)
What Lee Jung-jae has accomplished this season, and throughout Squid Game’s entire run, is one of the greatest television performances of all-time.

I don't think Adrienne Adams is going to deviate meaningfully from the status quo but I sure signed the petition to get her on the ballot because Jesus Fucking Christ, Anyone Else
I’m asking for your donation. But it’s not for me.

To defeat Andrew Cuomo and turn the page on corruption, we need strong candidates in this race like Speaker Adrienne Adams.

NYC, give what you can before Monday night’s deadline!

Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is so funny bc like religious trauma is real and all but tell me why these women in their late 20s are scandalized to the point of making it a running group point of mockery that one of their friends sat on her husband's face once

I "made" my girlfriend watch the first movie with me yesterday and she was SO locked in from the first heist and afterward I felt like I had to keep saying "Okay but the second one is REALLY bad so please temper your expectations." But god these movies are so much fun to watch, this is my MCU
The Now You See Me movies are my absolute favorite guilty pleasure - the first is great, the second is horrifically bad but I still love it - and the fact that they actually made good on their threats to make a third AND added Rosamund Pike as the villain AND Dominic Sessa?! I'm so blessed

I'm not joking when I say that Timeless Toni Storm is singlehandedly making me a wrestling girlie
I feel like more queer people need to know that the best thing in professional wrestling right now is a bisexual woman playing the role of a delusional 1950s moviestar who will shout "I am here and I am queer" on national TV

I'm sorry to the writer whose review of Another Simple Favor just made my eyes roll out of my head, but literally nothing about Blake Lively or Anna Kendrick can even approximate the act of "serving cunt," and what made the OG film so fun was that it actually served elevated cheugy in a knowing way!

It was his first Phillies game, but Prince is a big fan.

He is on the spectrum, and is shy by nature, but whenever he imitates his favorite athletes, it fills him with confidence.

“He’s an introvert, but once he watches sports, that side of him comes out." www.inquirer.com/phillies/jos...
Meet the 12-year-old Phillies fan who went viral for imitating José Alvarado: ‘He was in his own little zone’
“He really thought he helped the Phillies win," said Troy Bailey of his grandson Princeton, who can expect an invitation back to the Bank from Alvarado.

Literally the production that made me think, "Do I like King Lear the play, or do I just like the stuff with the daughters and Edmund's 'Now gods, stand up for bastards' monologue?"
As someone who saw John Lithgow's Lear, it's really not shocking that he might actually have been oblivious to the political firestorm he's skipping into. Like, he is Lear. His "BLOW WIND!" read haunts me with unintentional hilarity years later. Chuckling just remembering what a bad version it was.

The restaurant's still open but I have no reason to go back to Bakersfield, so I constantly think about the chile verde huevos rancheros at the taco place in the neighborhood I grew up in. Incredible tacos and burritos there too but. Chile. Verde. Huevos. Rancheros.
I don't want to hear about your lost loves, tell me about the restaurant food that haunts you because you'll never be able to taste it again

Realizing I have met not one but two potential candidates for the papacy....and man, I would be really shocked if one of them has as much support as the media is suggesting. Because not to be ageist, but that man is OLD, and not in a Dick Van Dyke way where he's spry, in a Mitch McConnell way.

After my dad died when I was six, my mom had to FIGHT for his social security payments. We eventually got them and that paid for my education.

Also, I PAID TAXES on those checks. Like do you know what it's like to be nine and hearing you owe taxes to the govt on the $$ the govt sent you?? lol
AOC: I saw on Fox, Jeanine Pirro says that they found so many babies and two year olds and four year olds receiving social security. I got a notice for you Jeanine Pirro: those babies receive social security because their parents died. That’s not a waste. That’s humanity. That’s America.
